David Nicholas

A graduate of Kennesaw State University, David holds a business administration degree in finance with a concentration in economics. He earned a master’s degree in financial planning from the University of Georgia and a certificate in adaptive leadership from Georgia State University. He passed the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 exams and holds Georgia, Alabama, and Texas life insurance and Georgia Health insurance licenses.
David is a weekly guest on Fox Business with Stuart Varney and Charles Payne. He is the host of "Retire Ready" on 95.5 FM WSB in Atlanta1 and also hosts the "Retire Ready" TV1 show which airs Saturdays on Fox at 9:00 AM and Sundays on CBS at 11:30 AM in Atlanta. David was selected as one of 25 individuals in the Atlanta area to be a member of the Buckhead Coalition’s Diplomatic Leadership Corps2, a one-time honor given in recognition of the coalition’s 25th anniversary. Atlanta magazine named David Nicholas, one of Atlanta's 500 most powerful leaders3 for four years in a row from 2020-2024. Kiplinger published one of David’s most popular articles, "Don’t let bad timing be your biggest retirement mistake." David’s opinions and commentaries have been featured frequently on Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, and Fox News.
David lives in Marietta with his wife, Kristin, and their children Isabella, Sophia, and Luke. In his free time, his number one priority is spending time with his family. David and his family attend Church of the Apostles in Atlanta. David is honored to serve as a board member of Life Resources of Georgia, a non-profit that aims to engage, equip, and encourage life-affirming organizations to support Georgia families. He also loves giving back to the local community by speaking on leadership, government, and public policy at schools in the Atlanta area.
